I'm gonna sit at the welcome table
Sit at the welcome table one of these days, one of these days
I'm gonna feast on milk and honey
I'm gonna feast on milk and honey one of these days
I'm gonna feast on milk and honey
Gonna feast on milk and honey one of these days
Chorus
All God's children gonna sit together
All God's children gonna sit together one of these days, hallelujah
All God's children gonna sit together
All God's children gonna sit together one of these days, one of these days
Chorus
Psalm 15
1 O Lord, who shall sojourn in your tent?
Who shall dwell on your holy hill?
2 He who walks blamelessly and does what is right
and speaks truth in his heart;
3 who does not slander with his tongue
and does no evil to his neighbor,
nor takes up a reproach against his friend;
4 in whose eyes a vile person is despised,
but who honors those who fear the Lord;
who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
5 who does not put out his money at interest
and does not take a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things shall never be moved.
Come People of the Risen King
Come, people of the risen King
Who delight to bring him praise
Come all and tune your hearts to sing
To the morning star of grace
From the shifting shadows of the earth
We will lift our eyes to him
Where steady arms of mercy reach
To gather children in
Rejoice, rejoice
Let every tongue rejoice
One heart one voice
Church at the Chip, rejoice!
Come those whose joy is morning sun
And those weeping through the night
Come those who tell of battles won
And those struggling in the fight
For his perfect love will never change
And his mercies never cease
But follow us through all our days
With the certain hope of peace
Chorus
Come, young and old from every land
Men and women of the faith
Come those with full or empty hands
Find the riches of his grace
Over all the world his people sing
Shore to shore we hear them call
The truth that cries through every age
Our God is all in all
Chorus
For He is Good (Psalm 118)
For he is good, for he is good
His steadfast love endures forever!
For he is good, for he is good
His steadfast love endures forever!
O give thanks to the Lord (4x)
Repeat chorus
(Leader): Let all the women say
(Ladies): "His steadfast love endures forever!"
(Leader): Let all the men-folk say
(Men): "His steadfast love endures forever!"
(Leader): Let those who fear the Lord say
(All): "His steadfast love endures forever!"
Repeat chorus
Abide with Me
I have a home, eternal home
But for now I walk this broken world
You walked it first, you know our pain
But you show hope can rise again up from the grave
Abide with me, abide with me
Don't let me fall, and don't let go
Walk with me and never leave
* Ever close, God abide with me (repeat last time)
There in the night, Gethsemane
Before the cross, before the nails
Overwhelmed, alone you prayed
You met us in our suffering and bore our shame
Chorus
Oh love that will not ever let me go
Love that will not ever let me go
You never let me go
Love that will not ever let me go
And up ahead, eternity
We'll weep no more and sing for joy, abide with me
We'll weep no more and sing for joy, abide with me
Chorus
Remedy
Here we are, here we are
The broken and used, mistreated, abused
Here we are
Here you are, here you are
The beautiful one who came like a Son
Here you are
So we lift up our voices, we open our hands
To cling to the love that we can't comprehend
Oh, lift up your voices and lift up your heads
To sing of the love that has freed us from sin
He is the one who has saved us
He is the one who *embraced us (*2nd time forgave)
He is the one who has come and is coming again
He's the remedy
Here we are, here we are
Bandaged and bruised, awaiting a cure
Here we are
Here you are, here you are
Our beautiful King, bringing relief
Here you are with us
So we lift up our voices and open our hands
Let go of the things that have kept us from him
Chorus
Oh, I can't comprehend, I can't take it all in
Never understand such perfect love
Come for the broken and beat, for the wounded and weak
Oh, come fall at his feet
He's the remedy, he's the remedy
Chorus
The Golden Suggestion?
The Word's True King: A Study in Matthew
Steve Gilbertson
Matthew 7:1-12
1 Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will
be measured to you. 3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s
eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you
say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there
is the log in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite first take the log out of your
own eye, andthen you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.
6 “Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs,
lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.
7 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock,
and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives,
and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be
opened. 9 Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will
give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent?
11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your
children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good
things to those who ask him!
12 “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them,
for this is the Law and the Prophets.
