Psalm 29
1 Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness.
3 The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the Lord, over many waters.
4 The voice of the Lord is powerful;
the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He makes Lebanon to skip like a calf,
and Sirion like a young wild ox.
7 The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire.
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness;
the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.
9 The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth
and strips the forests bare,
and in his temple all cry, "Glory!"
10 The Lord sits enthroned over the flood;
the Lord sits enthroned as king forever.
11 May the Lord give strength to his people!
May the Lord bless his people with peace!

This I Know
Up on the mountain
Where your love captured me
Where finally I am free
This I know
Up on the mountain
Where you taught my soul to sing
Amazing grace, the sweetest thing
This I know
And then the storm rushing in
And here I am again
This I know
Take me up to where I was
When I never wanted more than you
Lift me up to feel your touch
It wouldn't be that much for you
This I know
This I know
This I know
This I know
Up on the mountain
Where you took me by the hand
Taught me to dance again
This I know
Up on the mountain
Where you took this heart of stone
Put life back in these bones
This I know
Chorus
Welcome Table
I'm gonna sit at the welcome table
I'm gonna sit at the welcome table one of these days
I'm gonna sit at the welcome table
Sit at the welcome table one of these days, one of these days
I'm gonna feast on milk and honey
I'm gonna feast on milk and honey one of these days
I'm gonna feast on milk and honey
Gonna feast on milk and honey one of these days
Chorus
All God's children gonna sit together
All God's children gonna sit together one of these days, hallelujah
All God's children gonna sit together
All God's children gonna sit together one of these days, one of these days
Chorus
I Will Follow
When the sea is calm and all is right
When I feel your favor flood my life
Even in the good, I'll follow you
Even in the good, I'll follow you
When the boat is tossed upon the waves
When I wonder if you'll keep me safe
Even in the storms, I'll follow you
Even in the storms, I'll follow you
I believe everything that you say you are
I believe that I have seen your unchanging heart
In the good things and in the hardest part
I believe and I will follow you
I believe and I will follow you
When I see the wicked prospering
When I feel I have no voice to sing
Even in the want, I'll follow you
Even in the want, I'll follow you
Chorus
When I find myself so far from home
And you lead me somewhere I don't wanna go
Even in my death, I'll follow you
Even in my death, I'll follow you
When I come to end this race I've run
And I receive the prize that Christ has won
I will be with you in paradise
I will be with you in paradise
Chorus (2x)
Our Vision
Steve Gilbertson
1 Thessalonians 1:1-10
The back of our worship folder has these words on it every week:
"As living witnesses of God's new creation in Christ Jesus, ecclesia is
a community of faith, love and hope." Today we'll take a look at what
those words mean, and why we've chosen them to describe our church
family.
1 Paul, Silas and Timothy,
To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus
Christ:
Grace and peace to you.
2 We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our
prayers. 3 We remember before our God and Father your work produced
by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by
hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
4 For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you,
5 because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with
power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived
among you for your sake. 6 You became imitators of us and of the Lord,
for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the
joy given by the Holy Spirit. 7 And so you became a model to all the
believers in Macedonia and Achaia. 8 The Lord's message rang out from
you not only in Macedonia and Achaia-your faith in God has become
known everywhere. Therefore we do not need to say anything about it,
9 for they themselves report what kind of reception you gave us. They
tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God,
10 and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead-
Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.
