We’re so happy we can meet together again. We’ve missed you! As an act of Christian love, and in order to maintain a safe worship environment, please note the following:
• If you have cold or flu symptoms or a weakened immune system, please do not put yourself (or others) at risk. We offer live online worship on our church website so you can worship safely in your home.
• Please wear a mask while not seated.
• For your safety, our volunteers are wearing gloves and masks as they hand out bulletins and Communion. We will not be serving coffee or other treats.
• Please refrain from gathering in groups (outside of your families), and practice appropriate social distancing (no shaking hands, hugging, etc.). Please seat yourselves with 6 feet between your household and others.
• At the close of our worship gathering, please exit promptly, as the Buffalo Chip must close our entry gates as soon as possible.
If for health or other reasons, you are not able to worship with us at the Chip, we invite you to join us for our live worship broadcast each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Simply press the green tab above called "Worship Service".
Please pray with us that the virus will be contained soon, that God would grant healing to those near and far away who are affected by it, and that God would give wisdom to medical and government personnel who are on the front lines of dealing with the crisis.

Psalm 45
1 My heart overflows with a pleasing theme;
I address my verses to the king;
my tongue is like the pen of a ready scribe.
2 You are the most handsome of the sons of men;
grace is poured upon your lips;
therefore God has blessed you forever.
3 Gird your sword on your thigh, O mighty one,
in your splendor and majesty!
4 In your majesty ride out victoriously
for the cause of truth and meekness and righteousness;
let your right hand teach you awesome deeds!
5 Your arrows are sharp
in the heart of the king's enemies;
the peoples fall under you.
6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever.
The scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of uprightness;
7 you have loved righteousness and hated wickedness.
Therefore God, your God, has anointed you
with the oil of gladness beyond your companions;
8 your robes are all fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia.
From ivory palaces stringed instruments make you glad;
9 daughters of kings are among your ladies of honor;
at your right hand stands the queen in gold of Ophir.
10 Hear, O daughter, and consider, and incline your ear:
forget your people and your father's house,
11 and the king will desire your beauty.
Since he is your lord, bow to him.
12 The people of Tyre will seek your favor with gifts,
the richest of the people.
13 All glorious is the princess in her chamber, with robes
interwoven with gold.
14 In many-colored robes she is led to the king,
with her virgin companions following behind her.
15 With joy and gladness they are led along
as they enter the palace of the king.
16 In place of your fathers shall be youru sons;
you will make them princes in all the earth.
17 I will cause your name to be remembered in all generations;
therefore nations will praise you forever and ever.
This I Know
Up on the mountain
Where your love captured me
Where finally I am free
This I know
Up on the mountain
Where you taught my soul to sing
Amazing grace, the sweetest thing
This I know
And then the storm rushing in
And here I am again
This I know
Take me up to where I was
When I never wanted more than you
Lift me up to feel your touch
It wouldn't be that much for you
This I know
This I know
This I know
This I know
Up on the mountain
Where you took me by the hand
Taught me to dance again
This I know
Up on the mountain
Where you took this heart of stone
Put life back in these bones
This I know
Chorus
Thrive
Here in this worn and weary land
Where many a dream has died
Like a tree planted by the water, we never will run dry
So living water flowing through
God, we thirst for more of you
Fill our hearts and flood our souls with one desire
Just to know you and to make you known
We lift your name on high
Shine like the sun, make darkness run and hide
We know we were made for so much more than ordinary lives
It's time for us to more than just survive
We were made to thrive
Into your word we're digging deep
To know our Father's heart
Into the world we're reaching out
To show them who you are
Chorus
Joy unspeakable, faith unsinkable
Love unstoppable, anything is possible (3x)
Chorus
Come As You Are
Come out of sadness from wherever you've been
Come, brokenhearted let rescue begin
Come find your mercy, O sinner, come kneel
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal
Lay down your burdens
Lay down your shame
All who are broken
Lift up your face
O wanderer, come home
You're not too far
So lay down your hurt, lay down your heart
Come as you are
There's hope for the hopeless
And all those who've strayed
Come sit at the table
Come taste the grace
There's rest for the weary
Rest that endures
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't cure (to chorus) ...So...
Chorus
Come as you are
Come as you are
Fall in his arms
Come as you are
There's joy for the morning
O sinner, be still
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal
Chorus
"Show us a Sign"
Steve Gilbertson
Matthew 12:38-50
As Jesus' popularity grows, so do his critics. They ask for a sign, but in their hearts
they've already made up their mind. They are already plotting against him. How is
it that these devout people could have been so mistaken about Jesus? And what can
we learn from their example in our own lives today?
Matthew 12:38-50
38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered him, saying, "Teacher, we wish to see
a sign from you." 39 But he answered them, "An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a
sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40 For just as
Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man
be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41 The men on Nineveh will rise
up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching
of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here. 42 The queen of the South will
rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of
the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here.
43 "When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places
seeking rest, but finds none. 44 Then it says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.'
And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then it goes and
brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there, and
the last state of that person is worse than the first. So also will it be with this evil generation."
46 While he was still speaking to the people, behold, his mother and his brothers stood outside,
asking to speak to him. 48 But he replied to the man who told him, "Who is my mother, and who
are my brothers?" 49 And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, "Here are my
mother and my brothers! 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother
and sister and mother."
