Psalm 67

1    May God be gracious to us and bless us
and make his face to shine upon us,     Selah
2    that your way may be known on earth,
your saving power among all nations.
3    Let the peoples praise you, O God;
let all the peoples praise you!

4    Let the nations be glad and sing for joy,
for you judge the peoples with equity

and guide the nations upon earth.     Selah
5    Let the peoples praise you, O God;
let all the peoples praise you!

6    The earth has yielded its increase;
God, our God, shall bless us.
7    God shall bless us;
let all the ends of the earth fear him!

God so Loved the World

Come all you weary, come all you thirsty
Come to the well that never runs dry
Drink of the water, come and thirst no more

Come all you sinners, come find his mercy
Come to the table, he will satisfy
Taste of his goodness, find what you're looking for

For God so loved the world that he gave us
His one and only Son to save us
Whoever believes in him will live forever

Bring all your failures, bring your addictions
Come lay them down at the foot of the cross
Jesus is waiting there with open arms (see his open arms)

   Chorus

The power of hell forever defeated
Now it is well, I'm walking in freedom
For God so loved, God so loved the world

Praise God, praise God
From whom all blessings flow
Praise him, praise him
For the wonders of his love
(repeat)

For God so loved the world that he gave us
His one and only Son to save

   Chorus

The power of hell forever defeated
Now it is well, I'm walking in freedom
For God so loved, God so loved the world

Bring all your failures, bring your addictions
Come lay them down at the foot of the cross
Jesus is waiting
God so loved the world

Lift Your Voice, Bow Your Head

When the world has let you down
Seems a friend just can't be found
When you're lost and far from home
Know you're never all alone

Lift your voice, bow your head
Let not one word go unsaid
Give it to the Lord instead
Lift your voice, bow your head

Simple words are all you need
For his love is guaranteed
Though your voice be still and small
He will hear you when you call

   Chorus

If you take the time to pray
Through his grace you'll find your way
He will dry each tear you send
Lift your voice, bow your head

   Chorus

Come as You Are

Come out of sadness from wherever you've been
Come, brokenhearted let rescue begin
Come find your mercy, O sinner come kneel
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal

   Lay down your burdens
   Lay down your shame
   All who are broken
   Lift up your face
   O wanderer, come home
   You're not too far
So lay down your hurt, lay down your heart
   Come as you are

There's hope for the hopeless
And all those who've strayed
Come sit at the table
Come taste the grace

There's rest for the weary
Rest that endures
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't cure (to chorus) ...So...

   Chorus

Come as you are
Come as you are
Fall in his arms
Come as you are

There's joy for the morning
O sinner, be still
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal

   Chorus

"Who do You Say that I Am"
The World's True King: A Study in Matthew

Matthew 16:13-20
Steve Gilbertson

Jesus takes his disciples up north to Caesarea Philippi. He asks them this all-important
question, the most important question any of us will ever answer: "Who do you say that
I am?" We'll take a look at how Peter responds. But what is your answer? Who do you say
that Jesus is?

Matthew 16:13-20

13 Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do
people say that the Son of Man is?" 14 And they said, "Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah,
and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets." 15 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?"
16 Simon Peter replied, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." 17 And Jesus answered him,
"Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father
who is in heaven. 18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the
gates
of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and
whatever
you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed
in heaven."
20 Then he strictly charged the disciples to tell no one that he was the Christ.

21 From that time Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things
from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised. 22 And Peter
took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying, "Far be it from you, Lord,! This shall never happen to
you."
23 But he turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are
not setting
your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man."

24 Then Jesus took his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his
cross and
follow me. 25 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake
will find it.
26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall
a man give
in return for his soul? 27 For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his
Father, and then
he will repay each person according to what he has done. 28 Truly, I say to you, there are
some standing here
who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom."
