We're Back!

Please pray with us that the virus will be contained soon, that God would grant healing to those near and far away who are affected by it, and that God would give wisdom to medical and government personnel who are on the front lines of dealing with the crisis.

Psalm 103

1   Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
        bless His holy name!
2   Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and forget none of His benefits,
3   Who pardons all your iniquities,
       Who heals all your diseases,
4   Who redeems your life from the pit,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion,

5   Who satisfies your years with good things,
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle.

6   The Lord performs righteous deeds,
and judgments for all who are oppressed.
7   He made known His ways to Moses,
His acts to the sons of Israel.
8   The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness.
9   He will not always strive with us;
nor will He keep His anger forever.
10  He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11  For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
       so great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear him;
12  As far as the east is from the west,
so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
13  Just as a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear Him.
14  For He Himself knows our frame;
He is mindful that we are dust.

15  As for man, his days are like grass;
as a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
16  For the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
17  But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him,
and His righteousness to children's children,
18  To such as keep His covenant,
and to those who remember His commandments to do them.

19  The Lord has established His throne in heaven,
and His kingdom rules over all.

20  Bless the Lord, you His angels,
who excel in strength, who do His word,
heeding the voice of His word.
21  Bless the Lord, all you His hosts,
ministers of His, who do His pleasure.
22  Bless the Lord, all His works,
in all places of His dominion.

Bless the Lord, O my soul!

Raise a Hallelujah

I raise a hallelujah, in the presence of my enemies
I raise a hallelujah, louder than the unbelief
I raise a hallelujah, my weapon is a melody
I raise a hallelujah, heaven comes to fight for me

I'm gonna sing, in the middle of the storm
Louder and louder, you're gonna hear my praises roar
Up from the ashes, hope will arise
Death is defeated, the King is alive!

I raise a hallelujah, with everything inside of me
I raise a hallelujah, I will watch the darkness flee
I raise a hallelujah, in the middle of the mystery
I raise a hallelujah, fear you lost your hold on me!

   Chorus

Sing a little louder (In the presence of my enemies)
Sing a little louder (Louder than the unbelief)
Sing a little louder (My weapon is a melody)
Sing a little louder (Heaven comes to fight for me)

   Chorus

I raise a hallelujah (4x)

Lord I Need You

Lord, I come, I confess
Bowing here I find my rest
Without you, I fall apart

You're the one who guides my heart

Lord, I need you, oh, I need you
   Every hour I need you
   My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need you

Where sin runs deep your grace is more
Where grace is found is where you are
Where you are, Lord, I am free
Holiness is Christ in me

   Chorus

So teach my song to rise to you
When temptation comes my way
When I cannot stand I'll fall on you
Jesus, you're my hope and stay

   Chorus

You're my one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need you

My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need you

Love of God

The Spirit told me long ago
There's a love unfathomable
I know, it's been here eternally
It's a feeling so sublime
A pure love beyond refined
And it's spread throughout infinity

I want to know, have you ever felt this love
I've gotta know, have you ever felt this love
The love of God, for his creation

This awesome love I can't define
It exists outside of time
But manifests, in sacrifice
Jesus Christ exemplifies
The love that common sense defies
As he gave himself, unselfishly

I want to know, have you met our Savior yet
I've gotta know, have you met our Savior yet
He died that we might live eternally

God's pure love, it knows no bounds
In deep despair, it still abounds
It has no pause, it's unstoppable
To realize the Father's love
Seek his risen Son above
Yes, Jesus Christ, God's sacrifice

I want to know, have you tuned your mind to Christ
O I've gotta know, have you tuned your mind to Christ
He's the Way, the Truth, the Life
I want to know, have you turned your heart to Christ
I've gotta know, have you turned your heart to Christ
He's the Way, to eternal Life

Love and Sacrifice
Various Scripture
Greg Boyda

Ruth 1:1-5

1 Now it came about in the days when the judges governed, that there was a famine in the land.
And a certain man of Bethlehem in Judah went to sojourn in the land of Moab with his wife and
his two sons. 2 And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife, Naomi; and
the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehem in Judah. Now
they entered the land of Moab and remained there. 3 Then Elimelech, Naomi's husband, died;
and she was left with her two sons. 4 And they took for themselves Moabite women as wives;
the name of the one was Orpah and the name of the other Ruth. And they lived there about
ten years. 5 Then both Mahlon and Chilion also died; and the woman was bereft of her two
children and her husband.

Ruth 2:16-17

16 But Ruth said, "Do not urge me to leave you or turn back from following you; for where you go,
I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God.
17 "Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. Thus may the Lord do to me, and worse,
if anything but death parts you and me."

John 1:1-5, 14

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the
beginning with God. 3 All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came into
being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light
shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

14 "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only
begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth."

Matthew 27:46

46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice saying, "God, My God, why has Thou
forsaken me?"
