Psalm 148

1   Praise the Lord!
     Praise the Lord from the heavens;
        praise him in the heights!
2   Praise him, all his angels;
        praise him, all his hosts!

3   Praise him, sun and moon,
praise him, all you shining stars!
4   Praise him, you highest heavens,
and you waters above the heavens!

5   Let them praise the name of the Lord!
For he commanded and they were created.
6   And he established them forever and ever;
he gave a decree, and it shall not pass away.

7   Praise the Lord from the earth,
you great sea creatures and all deeps,
8   fire and hail, snow and mist,
        stormy wind fulfilling his word!

9  Mountains and all hills,
       fruit trees and all cedars!
10 Beasts and all livestock,
       creeping things and flying birds!

11 Kings of the earth and all peoples,
princes and all rulers of the earth!
12 Young men and maidens together,
        old men and children!

13 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
        for his name alone is exalted;
his majesty is above earth and heaven.
14 He has raised up a horn for his people,
        praise for all his saints,
for the people of Israel who are near to him.
     Praise the Lord!

Ain't No Grave (Gonna Hold My Body Down)

There ain't no grave can hold my body down
There ain't no grave can hold my body down
When I hear that trumpet sound
I'm gonna rise right out of the ground
Ain't no grave can hold my body down

Well, look down yonder, Gabriel
Put your feet on land and sea
But Gabriel, don't you blow your trumpet 'til you hear it from me
Well, look way down the river
What do you think I see
I see a band of angels, and they're coming after me

   Chorus

Well, meet me Jesus, meet me
Meet me in the air
And if these wings don't fail me
I will meet you anywhere
I'm going down to the river of Jordan
Bury my knees beneath the sand
Gonna holler high hosanna 'til I see that promised land

   Chorus

Well, look way down the river
What do you think I see
I see a band of angels, and they're coming after me

   Chorus

God So Loved the World

Come all you weary, come all you thirsty
Come to the well that never runs dry
Drink of the water, come and thirst no more
Come all you sinners, come find his mercy

Come to the table, he will satisfy
Taste of his goodness, find what you're looking for

For God so loved the world that he gave us
His one and only Son to save us
Whoever believes in him will live forever

Bring all your failures, bring your addictions
Come lay them down at the foot of the cross
Jesus is waiting there with open arms (see his open arms)

   Chorus

The power of hell forever defeated
Now it is well, I'm walking in freedom
For God so loved, God so loved the world

Praise God, praise God
From whom all blessings flow
Praise him, praise him
For the wonders of his love
(repeat)

   Chorus

The power of hell forever defeated
Now it is well, I'm walking in freedom
For God so loved, God so loved the world

Bring all your failures, bring your addicitons
Come lay them down at the foot of the cross
Jesus is waiting
God so loved the world

I Will Follow

When the sea is calm and all is right
When I feel your favor flood my life
Even in the good, I'll follow you
Even in the good, I'll follow you
When the boat is tossed upon the waves
When I wonder if you'll keep me safe
Even in the storms, I'll follow you
Even in the storms, I'll follow you

I believe everything that you say you are
I believe that I have seen your unchanging heart
In the good things and in the hardest part
I believe and I will follow you
I believe and I will follow you

When I see the wicked prospering
When I feel I have no voice to sing
Even in the want, I'll follow you
Even in the want, I'll follow you

   Chorus

When I find myself so far from home

And you lead me somewhere I don't wanna go
Even in my death, I'll follow you
Even in my death, I'll follow you

When I come to end this race I've run
And I receive the prize that Christ has won
I will be with you in paradise
I will be with you in paradise

   Chorus (2x)

An Idiot's Guide to the Gospel
The Gospel Changes Everything: A Study in Galatians #7
Galatians 3:1-9
Steve Gilbertson

With all the passion of an exasperated parent, Paul exclaims, "O foolish Galatians!...
Are you so foolish?" Why is Paul so frustrated, and what does that have to do with us?
We'll talk about that this morning....

Galatians 3:1-9 (ESV)

1 O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was
publicly portrayed as crucified. 2 Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works
of the law or by hearing with faith? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you
now being perfected by the flesh? 4 Did you suffer so many things in vain-if indeed it was in
vain? 5 Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works
of the law, or by hearing with faith- 6 just as Abraham "believed God, and it was counted to
him as righteousness"?

7 Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham. 8 And the Scripture, forseeing
that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying,
"In you shall all the nations be blessed." 9 So then, those who are of faith are blessed along with
Abraham, the man of faith.
