Psalm 1
1 Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
2 but delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree
planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.
4 The wicked are not so,
but are like chaff that the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
6 for the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.
Raise a Hallelujah
I raise a hallelujah, in the presence of my enemies
I raise a hallelujah, louder than the unbelief
I raise a hallelujah, my weapon is a melody
I raise a hallelujah, heaven comes to fight for me
I'm gonna sing, in the middle of the storm
Louder and louder, you're gonna hear my praises roar
Up from the ashes, hope will arise
Death is defeated, the King is alive!
I raise a hallelujah, with everything inside of me
I raise a hallelujah, I will watch the darkness flee
I raise a hallelujah, in the middle of the mystery
I raise a hallelujah, fear you lost your hold on me!
Chorus
Sing a little louder (In the presence of my enemies)
Sing a little louder (Louder than the unbelief)
Sing a little louder (My weapon is a melody)
Sing a little louder (Heaven comes to fight for me)
(repeat)
Sing a little louder!
Chorus
All Creatures of our God and King
All Creatures of our God and King
Lift up your voice and with us sing O praise him, alleluia
Thou burning sun with golden beam
Thou silver moon with softer gleam O praise him, O praise him
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Thou rushing wind that art so strong
Ye clouds that sail in heaven along, O praise him, alleluia
Thou rising moon in praise rejoice
Ye lights of evening find a voice, O praise him, O praise him
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Let all things their Creator bless
And worship him in humbleness, O praise him, alleluia
Praise, praise the Father, praise the Son
And praise the Spirit, Three in One, O praise him, O praise him
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
O Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
O Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia (x3)
Praise, praise the Father, praise the Son
And praise the Spirit, Three in One, O praise him, O praise him
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Lord I Need You
Lord I come, I confess
Bowing here I find my rest
Without you, I fall apart
You're the one that guides my heart
Lord, I need you, oh I need you
Every hour I need you
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need you
Where sin runs deep, your grace is more
Where grace is found is where you are
And where you are, Lord I am free
Holiness is Christ in me
Chorus
So teach my song to rise to you
When temptation comes my way
And when I cannot stand I'll fall on you
Jesus you're my hope and stay
Chorus
No Longer Slaves
The Gospel Changes Everything: A Study in Galatians #10
Galatians 4:1-11 ESV
Steve Gilbertson
Paul just made the earth-shaking statement that all who belong to Christ (Jews/Greeks,
slave/free, male/female) are Abraham's offspring, and therefore his rightful heirs
(3:28-29). He now continues to develop this glorious truth, describing what we were
before Christ, what we are because of Christ, and what this means for our daily lives.
Galatians 4:1-11 (ESV)
4 I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave, though he is the
owner of everything, 2 but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by his father.
3 In the same way we also, when we were children, were enslaved to the elementary principles
of the world. 4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman,
born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption
as sons. 6 And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba!
Father!" 7 So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.
8 Formerly, when you did not know God, you were enslaved to those that by nature are not gods. 9 But
now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to
the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more?
10 You observe days and months and seasons and years! 11 I am afraid I may have labored over you in
vain.
