Dear Ladies of the Church,
As a member of the Church Leadership Team and the Women Bible Study Leader, I want to invite you to join us in adopting the NAOMI House.
NAOMI is an acronym for Native American Outreach Ministries Incorporated. it is a Christian based nonprofit dedicated to providing a safe
and loving home for Native American Childen in Need. There are presently 26 children housed in the facility in Joseph City, AZ. The reason
NAOMI exists, is to share the healing love of Jesus Christ, with hurting children that desperately need His healing touch. We are starting off
with writing a simple letter to one of the Children. If you call Ecclesia home, whether you attend Bible Study or not you have a diving invitation to join us with "NAOMI House".

Operation Christmas Child

We would like to share a message from Franklin Graham of Samaritan's Purse, regarding Operation Christmas Child's shoeboxes:

"As the novel coronavirus continues to spread and cause untold suffering, children need great joy now more than ever. Most of all, they need the hope found only in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We hope you will partner with us to share that glorious hope with boys and girls around the world- many of whom have never heard the Name of Jesus.

Every gift-filled shoebox is a tangible expression of God's love. And as children come to faith and are discipled through The Greatest Journey, they tell their friends and family about Christ. As a result, families and communities are transformed, and new churches are planted. Following local guidelines in each receiving country, we anticipate being able to distribute shoebox gifts internationally and are working with local staff and volunteers.

A great option to share God's love is to build a shoebox online by visiting It's a convenient and personal way to give shoebox gifts directly from home. You make it your own by choosing from a list of gifts, then adding a letter and a photo. We'll pack it for you and send it off!"

In order to make packing a shoebox the safest experience possible for all our Church members, Pastor Steve and the leadership team have decided to fully embrace this option to build a shoebox online. It's really easy and fun! And safe! Thank you for joining forces with the ministry of Samaritan's Purse to spread joy, love and hope in the name of Jesus Christ!

If you have a filled shoebox leftover from last year, please DO NOT bring it to Church at the Chip this year. Instead, you can drop it off anytime before November 15, 2020 at Light of the Desert Lutheran Church, 33175 N Cave Creek Rd. No appointment needed, just leave it at the door.

Women's Bible Study- Life Interrupted by Priscilla Shirer
Led by Jana Morris

***Our next Bible Study session will be starting up soon. Please email if you would like information
on the topic and start date!***

Since we have had our lives turned upside down and put on hold for this last half year, I decided that the Priscilla Shirer Bible Study "Jonah: Navigating a Life Interrupted" might just be what we need. If you are interested, please email and we will provide you with further information.

You can order your book on Amazon,

Jonah- Navigating a Life Interrupted
"Interruptions. They're aggravating. Sometimes infuriating. But how we handle interruptions actually tell us more about ourselves. What do we do when God
interrupts our lives? Many times, like Jonah, we run! Priscilla redefines interruption and shows that interruption is actually God's invitation to do something beyond our wildest dreams. When Jonah was willing to allow God to interrupt his life, the result was revival in an entire city."

Afterwards we will have a discussion time and go over the questions. Finishing up our time online together with prayer requests and a closing prayer. Each week prior to our Thursday Bible Study I will send out an email with the Zoom link, login group number,
